Dennis Eagle to Showcase Elite 6 at Australasian Waste and Recycling Expo

Penske Australia & New Zealand will exhibit a Dennis Eagle Elite 6 dual control cab chassis fitted with a Superior Pak low profile side loading compactor for the first time at this week’s Australasian Waste and Recycling Expo (AWRE).

Available with a range of wheelbases to suit all refuse applications, the Dennis Eagle Elite 6 is powered by the efficient Cummins B6.7 Euro 6 engine and well-proven Allison six-speed transmission.

“As recognised by Transport for London, Dennis Eagle is the only truck manufacturer to be awarded a five-star direct vision standard rating,” said Shannon Mair, head of fleet at Penske Australia.

“Feedback from drivers that operate the Dennis Eagle Elite 6 low-entry cab is that their ability to see vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians, is outstanding, and operators that moved to Dennis Eagle have noticed a significant reduction in accident damage.

“Combining a true flat floor, the ease of walk-through cab, emergency brake assist, forward collision warning, electronic stability control, and early lane departure warning, the Dennis Eagle Elite 6 is in a class of its own when it comes to safety.

“Customers can also rely on the peace of mind of a 24/7 roadside assistance program and a national Penske support network.”
