Dennis Eagle will showcase the low-entry Elite 2 chassis at this week’s Waste 2021 Conference in Coffs Harbour.

Specifically designed for the refuse industry, the Elite 2 6×4 is powered by the Cummins b6.7 engine with a low-emission Euro 6 rating and fitted with a locally-manufactured refuse collection body.

With superior safety features including a single step entry, true flat floor, tall and wide door openings, and a high visibility window and mirror package, the Elite 2 stands alone as a superior refuse solution.

“As recognised by Transport for London with a 5-star direct vision standard (DVS) rating, the Elite 2 chassis sets the benchmark in visibility and safety,” said Shannon Mair, head of fleet at Penske Australia.

“Furthermore, with very low levels of pollutants, and with field trials in Australia concluding fuel savings of over 10% compared to the previous model, the Dennis Eagle offering is a stand out for its environmentally friendly credentials and low total cost of ownership.

“This is all backed by great support from our Penske and independent dealer network.

“With this total package, it’s clear why more and more companies are making the low-entry Dennis Eagle their number one choice for refuse collection.

“After the pandemic last year, we are looking forward to the show returning this week, and being able to connect with key partners, suppliers, and customers.”

Visitors to Waste 2021 will be able to view the Dennis Eagle line-up in booth 43 as part of the outdoor exhibition and will also be able to speak with Penske Australia representatives to discuss the full complement of Penske’s offering.
